Yellowstone Grand Canyon
During my two week solo photography trip I made a point of avoiding other tourists, but I still had to see the sights. After getting up at the crack of dawn and driving out to yellowstone canyon I was initally dissapointed that the weather was cold and overcast. But my misfortune turned to good luck - The thick blanket of clouds hung over the canyon meant that the light cast no shadows. Combining this otherworldly effect with a telephoto lens, I compressed the view into a surreal and colourful landscape, blending shapes and textures together.
Produced and shipped by Prodigi, the same company that makes posters and prints for the world famous Natural History Museum in London, very fitting for this poster!
